Found this place by sheer chance in the culinary desert that is the surroundings of Nepliget bus station. If you’re there and want to eat something else than pastry or pizza, you’re out of luck. This bistro is in the building of the football stadium, entrance from the north-western side. There’s a daily, cheap lunch menu as well as a few modern, European dishes to choose from. Swiftly served, beautifully laid out, fresh and very tasty. I went for duck breast with some Asian-inspired seasoning---tender, soft, distinctly tasteful and satisfying in portion, while not overwhelming. Prices are what you’d expect from Budapest normally. Staff friendly and speaks just enough English to handle orders correctly. Card payments accepted and there’s good wifi with plenty of space to sit and spend time waiting for the bus connection at Nepliget.
